The loot was the savings of an entire life of hard work / hidden by the farmer
They tied up everybody and they searched all over / bangin' on the walls lookin' for a safe
Ten thousand easy bucks / some wrong information / Dick couldn't believe it
He declared « no witnesses » / Perry calmed him down / they were not murderers
Perry went down to the basement to reassure the owner
he was looking Perry in the eyes like he expected him to kill him
Perry was so ashamed/ but he cut his throat anyway
